back from hk! it had been another tiring yet accomplished trip. 收获不少oh. =)

DAY 1:
reached airport too early and so gotta hang ard while waiting for counter to be ready for check-in
got our boarding pass and were all ready to fly!
but too bad plane wasn't ready for us yet and so we had to settle for breakfast first while waiting
waiting for the king who was having toilet runs
heading towards our gate
spotted our plane!
on board the plane and the destination is hk!
lunch came in time when we were all hungry already
yummy desserts served by cathay airline *slurp*
finally landed on hk!
waiting for our bus to fetch us to the hotel
on board the bus heading towards metropark mongkok
the bridge again. i remember taking pix of them when i was there last yr too. haa.
our housing for the past 5 days - Metropark Mongkok
our hotel room was quite big. but one terrible thing is the added-on bed which is like a hospital bed lo. it could haf been better if we were given a double bed and single bed instead.
bubble bath which the king had for all 5 days during the trip!
we were housed on the 10th floor which is also the VIP level! and strangely, the hotel lobby was located on ground zero. haha. tat's wad we discovered weird abt the buildings in hk. the storey starts from zero instead of one.
started hitting out on the streets right after dumping our luggages in the hotel
first stop was at
fa yuen street
saw tis ice-cream car vendor at the entrance to the street
first dinner in hk. food wasn't too bad. at least it wasn't maggie mee.
crossing over thru the big overhead bridge
passed by the
fa yuen street market which was smelly smelly
arrived at the sports street which got the king excited
conquered the sports street, electronic street, ladies street and argyle centre all within a night! we got lost while looking for nelson street lo. only to discover tat the street was actually quite long and we had been looking for the wrong part of the street. blur us. haha.
nearby the "L" place (forgot how to spell the building name. oops) which is a big shopping centre.
siew mai from 7-11 for supper. always see those hk pple eating in the hk drama and so decided to taste it out. but it turned out super disappointing.
DAY 2:
the king topo-ing
nearest MTR to our hotel was Prince Edward aka
tai zi
ooh. found seats in the MTR to rest our legs!

yau ma tei station in the hope of looking for a dim sum restaurant for brunch
only to discover tat this was the one the queen n i had been to last yr. disappointing cuz it's a lousy place.
headed for a 茶餐厅 right after to fill our stomachs better
chanced upon a confectionery and saw some egg tarts. it was yummy!
always seeing the police petrolling cars in hk drama. coolz.
taking a break at mac after a grabbing our G2000 suits. it was on sales tat's y it's so cheap. 80 plus for a whole suit lo. surely can't find such gd bargain here.

notice the KPMG sign? those crowds were probably the people working in some buildings nearby and tink dey were having fire drill or sort.

we found directions to the peak tram! yeah~

had to climb up some steep slopes towards the peak tram. super tiring lah.

ooh. scenary was good!
james bond was at the entrance to the wax museum
some shots which the queen and princess took. the king was practically shooting with all the models. haha.
we happened to dress like prinsoners on tat day too! haa.
the funniest pose by the king. he was certainly enjoying himself in the museum lo. only me and the queen got bored dere cuz we went dere b4 already. haha.
poor princess gotta lug all the bags while the king was busy posing with all the wax statues. bleahh.
finally a rest and makan time at mac. yeah!
last night view b4 we headed down the peak
queue at the tram was so long tat we decided to take a cab downhill instead
at the well-known
lan kwai fong street. discovered many ang mo chilling out dere. but we were too poor to afford it. money is better conserved for shopping lo.
the queen and i felt tat it was too early to return to the hotel and thus ended up at jordan station with the intention to shop at
temple street
here we are at 庙街! saw seemingly delicious seafood stalls which we headed back to try later in the trip. and tat was the end our second day.
time to take a break and i will probably continue posting tmr ba. gonna make donuts delivery later lo. haha.

DAY 3:
went to mahjong shop to order a set of mahjong the first thing we stepped out of the hotel since it's juz opposite
brunch for day 3 and the food was the best so far
waiting patiently for our food to be cooked
headed down to
kuan tong station where the sportswear factory outlets are located
arrived at a ulu place with ulu staircases. we were going down by the stairs to make sure we dun miss any good stuffs on any floors. and oso cuz the lift was lkk. made us dizzy. hurr.
the nike outlet was relocated recently and we were all surprised to find such appealing factory outlet lo. looks juz like a nike store rite. cheap bargains in dere oh.
chanced upon the APM shopping centre
sis bot a pair of levis slippers for $20 cuz she had blisters
and finally found a krispy kreme outlet in APM. yeahh!
trying out the two donuts-new york cheese and caramel. delicious!
oso tried out the bird nest drink which we bot in the MTR station. good stuffs. haa.

met up wif jh for dinner at 庙街
thanx to jh who helped us pay for the dinner first so tat we could conserve our precious hk dollars
DAY 4:
brunch at a nearby cafe but food wasn't very nice. and even got broken glasses in one of the plates. super errr...

we were heading back to hong kong island to find a factory outlet lo
reached out destination at fortress hill
took one of the longest elevator i haf ever taken
and dere's cute pix on the walls along the stairs reminding us tat walking the stairs is healthy. tat justify for the lack of elevators. hurr.
tot tat got good lobangs in Dickson Warehouse which is at Olympic Plaza. but it turned out to be a disappointment.

we got photographed even when we were shopping! the king was definitely bored looking at us gals shop.

DAY 5:
some views captured from our hotel room in the morning. looked like it was going to rain and it did indeed.

all ready to check-out with our many lobang lobangs
brunch at the same place again
but ordered different food tis time
and we finally realized tat this cup of tea was meant for washing utensils. the king actually drank a sip the previous time! hahaz!
last and final round of shopping at
fa yuan street 
notice the petrol station in the middle of the housing. issn't it dangerous? hmmm..

drinks were all ready but the queen and king were busy with business in the toilets
drinks was one-for-one and so we each had 2 rounds

the bus was late and it was certainly tiring to stand at the lobby to wait lo. boo.
finally on board the bus heading out of the city
and tat was when it started pouring. good timing cuz we are done with our street shopping already lah.

hunted for krispy kreme outlet right after check-in
a total of 108 donuts were being hand carried back home
bye bye hk!
couldn't get 3 seats together and so the king had to be seated alone
me curdling in my bumble bee jacket
dinner was finally served at 9plus and we were certainly hungry by den cuz din had time to grab any food before boarding the plane lo
nestle ice-cream for the return trip. better than none i guess
watched the movie
NEXT on the flight back and it was so boliao. lousy show leh.
