met up with jc clique today. we went to chinatown to haf dim sum. din expect such a crowd there cuz we din realize that chinatown was lighted up yesterday when we planned our outing. but still we managed to find seats quickly despite it being full house. and i guess it did satisfy mel's cravings too. hahaz.

went to Global Sounds World Music Studio and Café Gallery after dim sum to chill out. it's a cafe at chinatown which is opened by jh's fren, who happened to be from tjc and ntu. so decided to go down to support him. all of us ordered the same drink - ice blended mocha. tink the ice could be blended further to make them finer. haa. ambience wise was not bad. good place to chill out if u want to avoid the crowds in town. was asked to advertise the cafe. so i did my job le oh. hee.

anyway, spent our time there looking thru mel's exchange program photos and listening to her stories. some of her experiences were quite bad. nightmares as she claimed. like having to spend the nites in those foreign airports due to cancelled flights and not being able to get flights to reach her designation on time. but still it's an experience which she would never forget ba. of cuz i meant the fun part of the exchange program too lah. hahaz. and i tink i wun haf the chance to haf such experience lo. unlike yl and jh who are going for the work and travel program to US soon. can onli listen to their interesting experiences but no chance to take part in. some day, i hope to be able to travel to the other part of the world too. it certainly requires hard work b4 i can materialize such travelling plans. hur...

its dad 50th birthday today. and he's currently enjoying his golf game now i guess. bought him a cute bdae card. very suitable for a golfer like him. hahaz. no celebration wif him today cuz he has his own plans to golf and dine wif his golf khakis. but anyway we already gave him his present. and he already wore it out early this morning before we woke up. hahaz. hopes he will get good score for his game and enjoy himself ba..

today's another free day at home. already finished reading a chapter of AA306. and i tink its really terrible. dunno wad all those consolidation entries are about! i'm totally confused lah. and tis semester readings are are piling up so quickly. all 3 modules de files are full le lo. gonna start filing in a second file liao. and its onli the 3rd week of sch. tat's so disgusting. boo. wonder how i'm gonna survive the exams lah. so stressful. off to relief stress thru online sprees now liao.. hoho~

another friday has arrived. and i love friday. it means a long weekend since no lesson on fri. tat's y i'm really satisfied with my timetable tis sem. hahaz.

gotta go tampines to do proj tmr. hmmm.. tink its not really a proj cuz its juz a tutorial presentation. and we are the first group to present. luckily the topic is not tat difficult. hopefully it wun take too long. cuz having family dinner tmr to celebrate my dad's bdae. 50th birthday to be exact. but tmr issnt the actual day. it shld be the 23rd jan. but dad already has got other plans on the actual day. which includes lunch, golf game, dinner and drinks with his golf khakis. so we will celebrate earlier with him lo.

oh.. and my cousin, ryan, gonna appear ugly tmr during phototaking le. cuz he fell down in sch yesterday and cut his right cheek. and it even requires stitching. *ouch* he's like always hurting himself. last yr fell down broke his head which needs stitiching too. and the injured area issnt gowing out any hair till now. i doubt it will. hahaz. luckily its juz a small area. and now he disfigured his handsome face. hahaz. and the xray he took yesterday showed slight shift in his face bones. so he gonna visit a plastic surgeon next week lah. feeling stressed for him. but i guess he's still young. so should be able to rectify the problem easily ba. poor disfigured ryan... hur..

had a super busy day today. lesson ended early. was supposed to end at 12.30 but onli took up till 12.10pm. very efficient tutor who managed to finish going thru all the qns before time is up.

den went to eight flag to collect a laptop. but its not mine. juz using my name to help jh's sis buy. so now my bank acct is back to square one. was feeling rather rich for the past one week. haa.

after collecting the notebook, we went to haf lunch at vivocity. SuperDog. as shown on above. food is nice but its rather ex. considering tat i'm broke now. hahaz.

den jh left after lunch and we continued to shop around with the aim of getting a birthday present for my dad. wanted to get an addidas shirt which he hinted abt. but dun haf his size. so we tot we could get it at other branches.

and right after exiting the addidas shop, sis realized tat her hp was spoilt. couldnt type msg and couldnt open msg. so we had to search for a service centre to send it for repair. luckily got a samsung shop at vivo in which we managed to get the location for the service centres. and the nearest was at plaza sing. so we had to make our way there lo.

but we still managed to grap a piece of top and a necklace from forever21 b4 we left vivo. see how efficient we are at shopping. haa. simply loves forever21 lo. be it online or the shop. and of cuz i'm refering to the one at vivo. not the pathetic one at wisma.

a crappy customer service guy served my sis at samsung service centre. and he even laughed at my sis's sim card. exclaiming tat its lkk alr and its time to go change a new one. hahaz. but he's quite good cuz he arranged for the hp to be collected tonight. no need to wait for 3 days. sis is happily out now to collect her beloved hp liao.

headed for cityhall after sending the hp for repair. in the hope of finding the addidas shirt. but its even worse there cuz there's no sight of the shirt at all lah. searched every possible addidas store ard oso dun haf. so in the end we settle with a Guess belt.

den after tat we had to rush back to open letter box. cuz there are quite a few stuffs being delivered and dun wanna let my mum collect them. else nagging will start. den we realized tat the niu er package was quite big. got stucked inside the letter box. we had to tear the package open inside the letter box to get the individual items out. how pathetic right. really spent quite a while at the letter box trying to pull out the big parcel. tink we looked stupid there. hahaz. but luckily we managed to get them all out lah.

above is the activities for today. so tired now. need to catch some rest. and superstar is showing soon. yeah!

woke up tis morning with diarrhoea. dunno y stomach wasnt feeling tat well. juz recovered from flu and cough and i'm sick again. such a bad start for the yr. boo. anyway, feeling much better now. tat's a good sign. hur. still went to attend my two seminar class tis morning despite not feeling well. shows that i'm a good student ba. hahaz. but i regretted going lah. cuz felt like vomitting on quite a few occasion. but luckily i din lah. if not will be superly embarrassed then..

second week into the semester. tons of readings to do. but still quite manageable cuz projects haven started mah. so i could still find time to continue my online window shopping and also watching a new serial online too. its a hk show called Dicey Business. one sad thing abt the show is that it is in canto and i dun quite understand it. so gotta read the subtitles which are in chinese. but as the show progresses, i find that i'm also slowing picking up the language. can understand more of what they are saying without reading the subtitles le. good way to learn a new language oh.. hahaz...

first day of sch today. attended two seminar lessons. one of the tutor had taught me before. though i found him familiar, i wasnt able to recall who he was.. wad he had taught me.. until my frenz reminded me. shows that my memory is failing me. bad start for the semester. hahaz. and to make it even worse. i'm down wif flu, sore throat and cough! visited the doc yesterday but seems like the cough and sore throat got worse today. was abit paisei tat i kept coughing in class lah. den finished my bottle of water after the first seminar and forgot to refill it. so was feeling even worse during the second seminar. boo.

carried many books back today. cuz decided to get a new copy so that i can keep it for future use. though i dun really tink i would use it next time. but still its a form a assurance rite. hahaz. yep assurance. tat's one of my core module tis sem. sianzzz. anyway.. juz found out tat dere's an imall for ntu students to sell our books. until last sem den found out. so sua ku liddat. hahaz. posted some books up for sales in the hope of earning some quick bucks. hur. oso tried to buy a second hand scott book for my sis lah. cuz she's feeling uneasy with me having the updated edition. and i can understand tat. tat's how twins work. at least for us i guess. muz haf the same things if not will feel uneasy de. hahaz. waiting for the seller to reply if not gonna get a new one on wed le. and we will den be having 2 same new books. so wasteful. regretted not buying it last time den can at least use it for 2 semesters lo. can onli hope to sell it in the second hand market next time le ba.

many readings to catch up on. so tink tmr will be a busy day for me. tho i dun haf classes. but i shall be a studious ger and begin my mugging now. its time to start up the rusty engine and pace the accelerator at a suitable pace le. wish to be fully geared up for the final lap in the race. but onli my brain is in the correct state of mind. my heart is still in wonderland. so is my state of mood. feels like holiday-ing some more. lalala~

i'm bored. nothing much to do online nowadays. no nice show on youtube. wonderful life issnt tat fantastic. and worse still its in korean. muz read the subtitles which makes it so tiring. and worse of all is the slow rate of connection which further deter me from going into youtube. only looking forward to 花样少年少女which is shown onli once a wk. slow. 没事做.. but i dun feel like burying in the books yet. tho there are tons of readings to be done for first wk of sch. perhaps i will start tmr. well it depends on my mood tmr ba. last day of holz tmr leh. will be wasted if i spend it on mugging rite. hahaz.

oh ya.. the result of the long wait was definitely worth it. even mum oso said its nice. and she's considering to go join the queue next time too. but i tink she say say onli lah. dun tink she will really do it cuz its not her style to wait for more than an hour in a queue. hahaz.

having slight headache now. and oso running nose. probably caught the flu virus frm my sis or dad. boo. sch's starting and i'm sick!! such a bad start for the sem. tink i better go see doc tmr or else will feel worse and den cannot concentrate on my readings lah. 生病的我，真可怜.

legs a little aching now. cuz juz came back from a long wait. yep. sis n i went to queue up at reffles city. and it was certainly a long one. 1 hour and 25 minutes in total. stood in the queue with many others. doing nothing but juz simply waiting. and was carrying a bag filled with one stack of double A paper and 3 ink catridge. so heavy. so wad exactly were we queuing up for. many passer-bys were asking the same qns i guess. hahaz. so here's the pic which will address ur qns.
The Donut Factory. haf u heard of it? hahaz. sis told be abt it some time ago b4 it came out on paper. and i guess dere wasnt any queue den. still relatively unknown ba. but ever since it came out on the newspaper. the queue started. even on a weekday! many pple were buying in dozens lo. like going to open party liddat. got so many pple eating de oh.. hmmm.. hahaz..anyway.. take a look at the freshly baked assorted donuts. think the pix wasnt well taken lah. it looks much better in reality. only bought half dozen of assorted flavours when dere were many others. well.. we simply cant eat so many rite. as sis had said.. will become as round as those donuts if we do eat so many. hur. these are meant for breakfast tmr. so haven got a taste of them. but we tried one glazed donut. its those normal kind coated with melted sugar. and it certainly tasted good. and the bread was soft too. so tink the rest with flavourings should taste better ba. hahaz. hopefully our long wait was worth it lah hor. tho i tink eating freshly baked ones would definitely be nicer. but i dun like to haf donuts for dinner lo. shall find out the result of our long wait tmr morning den. hur.

oh.. haf also received mel's postcard from NY. thanx mel!! shall let sis post up the pix of the postcard. she's currently doing it now. hahaz. and i know she's gonna post up the same donut pix as me too. bleah. 无聊~~

photos were taken last yr. but could only post them up tis yr cuz only got it yesterday. hahaz. i'm being so fei. nothing much to do on the second day of yr 2007. so decided to post up these backdated pix. 2006 was only like a few days ago but it seems like a long time ago. the most memorable event in 2006 was definitely my first independent trip to hk. looking forward to the next one in 2007. and its certainly got to be my graduation trip. yeah. haven thought of any resolutions for the new year. and i guess such resolutions doesnt work for me too. so no point to pen them down after which i will only cast them aside. hahaz.

realized tat i haf bought quite a number of stuffs from online last yr. and all haf not arrived yet. so i guess dere's no need to plan for CNY shopping already.anyway tink i haf done quite a fair share of shopping lately. and tat reminds me tat i haf actually been vivo-ing for many times last yr too. and i suppose tis would continue into the new yr. it definitely has topped my favourite hangout chart. leaving bugis in the second place. hahaha. new yr day yesterday was spent at vivo too. not surprising rite. wanted to buy jeans from gap. but couldnt find suitable size. din realize tat gap jeans are so hot selling lah. how cum i dun see many wearing. or i aren't looking close enuff. oops. i probably sound like a pervert. hur. glad to find suitable ones from another brand tho. started the new yr with purchase of new clothes. wad's lacking now is juz a pair of shoes to walk me thru the new yr liao. Happy 2007!!
