manage to catch the following two movies during the weekends...





both were not too bad.. wanted to watch Babel but realize tat not many cinemas are screening it since it has been screened for quite some time already. such a pity.

anyway, i tink today marks the end of my slack life. having project meetings for the next two days and gotta start mugging hard for quizzes after the one week break. next half of the semester will be super busy for me with the the projects and quizzes coming up consecutively. many would haf already completed at least one proj but i haven even started one. so unlucky to be picked into the last few project groups for all the modules lah. hopefully all will go smoothly without hiccups..

Day 2 in Bangkok

Breakfast buffet at 43rd storey in the hotel.. food is not bad oh..


dad hired a van to chauffeur us around.. brought us much convenience..

MBK shopping centre.. Crowded place but it's a very big shopping area oh..


dinner at a teochew restaurant near Eastin Hotel.. Love the tomyam soup!! *yummy*slurp*

Day 3 in Bangkok


Breakfast buffet again.. breakfast for 3 days are free lah.. included in our tour package.. so of cuz will be eating there every morning.. hahaz..

off to Central World.. A high class shopping centre with branded stuffs.. nothing much to shop too cuz it's new and many shops not open yet.. disappointing trip there..


took some pics while strolling around in Central World.. one good thing abt it is tat it's air conditioned... super hot outside so it's a good place to cool ourselves in.. hee...


Notice tat Mr McDonald is positioned in a typical thai greeting style.. different from other McDonalds... so customized.. hahaz!!


lunched at a jap style restaurant in Central World... food is cheap too.. haa...


my cousins couldn't resist the arcade games outside the restaurant.. so muz let time play a while to satisfy their wants..


wanted to go to chinatown to haf seafood for dinner but it was super crowded because of the CNY celebrations.. and the heat was unbearable too.. so din get to haf seafood.. instead drank a lousy birdnest.. boo..


special request by my cousin to pose with the elephant.. it was actually outside pan pacific hotel oh.. did some shopping nearby at Robinsons Shopping Centre.. isolated place with not much shoppers.. totally different from Robinsons in S'pore lo..


went to PP night market as recommended by my cousin.. but it was such a lousy place.. prices are high and no clothes suitable for us.. even the market near our hotel is better than PP.. strongly advise all not to go there oh...

Day 4 in Bangkok

makan again in the morning... breakfast is always the time for photo taking cuz all the elderly are taking forever to eat.. oops..


shopping around near our hotel... realized tat there are many wholesales shops around... can get cheap clothes.. plus some bargaining skills.. definitely able to bring price even lower! =)


Waiting to check out of the hotel.. more luggages to carry back now... but i'm happy to see my luggage being fully packed... hoho~



nua-ed around the hotel lobby while waiting for the bus to fetch us to the airport.. but realized tat we saw the time wrongly.. had another hour more to go after waiting for an hour.. so decided to go haf lunch at a cafe in the hotel..


prices are relatively cheap.. but taste wise is so so.. prefer the food from thai express.. hahaz..


these two masks were hung on the toilet doors in the hotel lobby.. so kawaii~~ but can't differentiate male from female leh.. how to know which toilet to go to??


departing bangkok... terrible last day in the airport.. cuz the plane was delayed for almost 3 hours due to some technical fault.. was supposed depart at 5pm but ended up leaving at 8 plus.. and because its a budget airline.. we couldn't go shop around the airport cuz muz queue up to book seats lo.. ended up spending almost $100 on sushi and sandwich for dinner.. lousy tiger airway.. dun wanna take budget airline again le lah.. boo!

ooh.. found free internet access in the budget terminal. but its not surprising lah.. hahaz.. took a seven seater cab here tis morning. first time taking such cab. quite cool. hahaz. but the budget terminal is disappointing lah. haf finished shopping within 15 minutes. nothing much de.. boo.. still got abt an hour more till boarding. wonder how i should pass my time.. tink i gotta rot liao lo.. but at least got my cousins to crap with.. hahaz.. but right now they are busy surfing the net too. looking at the maple story ranking. and another kid besides me is also looking at the same website lah. hahaz. young children these days are all into internet gaming le. haa. okie.. i getting bored.. tat explains for all my crapping here.. tink i shall go find a seat to sit down le. legs getting tired after standing to surf the net. shall rest my feet to prepare for the long long walk coming up in the next few days. yeah.

off to bangkok!!

off to bangkok early tmr morning. will be my first trip to bangkok. first time taking budget airline. first time going to the budget terminal. and my first time away from home during chinese new year. hopefully the budget flight wun be too uncomfortable. gotta depend on my nano for company during flight le. luckily it wun take too long to reach. hur..

teaching my cousin how to type chinese words thru msn now.. and i realize how lousy her 汉语拼音is. she was like asking me wad's the 汉语拼音for one to ten lah. such simple words lo. wonder wad they haf been learning in school. haiz.. and being primary school students is tough too lah. gotta learn spelling and 听写every week. tink my cousins bringing it to bangkok to study lah. poor thing. made me wonder if i should bring some notes to study during flight too. mebbi some consol notes?? haha. tat's so crazy. not my style of studying too. i shall enjoy my short escape trip and worry about all other stuffs when i get back ba. yep yep..

vivo-ed today yet again. but it wasnt random shopping. was targeting all white blouse or shirt. cuz sis needed one for her presentation. and we onli haf white tees. ended up buying one white top from river island. not formal at all but anyway dey oso not intending to wear formally. so tink tat will do. haa. tis time din meet the sales person who recognized me last week. heng. but we were told to go back every week cuz dey haf new stuffs weekly. yes. we will be back.... hahaz...

realized tat i haf bought quite a number of new clothes for CNY this yr. especially tops. but bringing all to bangkok. more than sufficient tops for my 4-days trip. and it's for the both of us oh. means we are wearing new clothes everyday in bangkok le. but it's not kua zhang lo.. my dear cousins oso haf enuff new clothes to last them for the trip. and all comes in a set. meaning new tops and bottoms. so we are on comparable basis lo. hurhur...

sis exclaimed tat she wants to extract her wisdom teeth too. and the main reason is because it will make her face become smaller and not so round. hmmm.. is tat true?? i dun seem to realize any of such effect on me leh. yah.. first week after extraction will become thinner cuz cannot eat much mah. but then after recovering can eat better cuz wun be bothered by those occasional pain le. den put on weight again and face will become round again mah. like me liddat lo. haha. i guess she's quite bothered abt those aunties' comments abt her rounder face compared to mine. comparison is no good. tat's the down side to having a twin ba...

think my first half of the semester has been a honeymoon period. nothing much to do since my projects are not released yet. but at least dere's something to do tis week le. and tat's mugging for AA304 quiz next week. though it's onli a pathetic 5%.. onli 10 MCQs.. onli half an hour paper.. but still gotta study for it because everyone will be mugging hard too! hur...

looking forward to CNY. will be my first time not spending CNY in singapore. heading off to bangkok on the morning of new yr's eve. haven been there b4 so i'm certainly anticipating the short get-away trip. hopefully will become more asset rich when i return oh. hee..

will be having recess week after the CNY week. but i can foresee myself being flooded with projects lah. and oso muz study for 2 quizzes which are after the recess week. so unlucky of me to be in the last few presenting groups. would rather haf it earlier. boo...

shall not be concerned abt such dreadful thoughts right now. waiting for my show to load now so tat i can continue watching. found a new hk serial "The Brink of Law" so it has been keeping me occupied during my excess free time nowadays. my current lifestyle revolves around watching serial shows and online shopping lo. that's so shuang lo. if onli life can continue like tis........ hmmm.. den i will probably become blind and broke... hahahaz...

tink i'm in obsessed with vivo-ing le. haf been going there for 2 consecutive days. hahaz. and a new retail shop called River Island has juz opened in vivo yesterday. so actually already had the intention to go vivo-ing since last week when i came across the news on papers. hur.

i muz say its an attractive shop. similar to topshop style. but its a fresh new shopping experience there with all the new clothes around. cuz i'm kinda bored with topshop and forever21 already. hehe. bought a top from there yesterday. and went back today to get the shorts which was spotted yesterday which i din manage to try it on. not because it was crowded but because we haf been in and out of the fitting rooms so many times tat the sales people recognized us. so we were paisei to go try the shorts again when it was spotted lo.

but anyway, managed to buy it today so i am happy. hurhur. and one of the sales person actually recognized me today! he asked me if he had seen me yesterday lo.. hahaz. so paisei. den entered the new shop twice today too. and another salesperson saw it cuz we were carrying its bags. and she made some comment abt how attractive the shop was to attract us back again. yah lah.. i admit it is.. couldnt resist visiting it again lo. hahaz.. price wise is slightly higher than topshop for the clothes and jeans. but dey are definitely nicer lah. but the bags are abit pricely. some can go up to over 300 bucks. wow. dun see how it can cost so much oso. but there are nice necklaces around. tempted but i resisted. hur.

seems like i haf been busy shopping lately. will be going out with the devils tmr to shop too. but its not vivo lah. will be at bugis instead. my old hometown. hahaz. hopefully wun see to many attractive stuffs around. i need to haf controls in place...
